Apple Music Sing is a new function that offers karaoke for many of your favorite tracks. The feature is currently available only on the RC version of iOS 16.2, and not all devices support it. In this article, we will explain how to use Apple Music Sing on iPhone or iPad and explore its various functionalities.
Apple Music Sing provides real-time lyrics and manipulable vocals, allowing users to sing along to their favorite songs. The feature offers several lyric views to help users sing lead, backing, duets, and more inside Apple Music’s lyrics experience. With tens of millions of songs available, Apple Music makes it easy to engage in singing anytime and anywhere.
Currently, 24 devices are able to operate Apple Music Sing, though this number may increase in the future. These devices include the iPhone 11, 12, and 13 series, the third-generation iPhone SE, the iPad 9, 10, and mini 6, and the M1 and M2 iPad Pro. The feature is also available on the 2022 Apple TV 4K.
To use Apple Music Sing on iPhone or iPad, launch the Music app and play your favorite song. Then, tap the Lyrics icon to view the real-time lyrics and the Karaoke icon to adjust the volume of the lead singer.
Apple Music Sing offers several features, including adjustable vocals, real-time lyrics, background vocals, and a duet view. With adjustable vocals, users can control a song’s vocal levels and sing along with the original artist’s voice, take the lead, or mix it up.
Real-time lyrics are animated to help users remember the lines, and background vocals are animated separately from the primary vocals, making them easier to follow. The duet view displays multiple vocalists on the screen, making it convenient and more fun to sing along with others.
